Eugenia Tusquets was born in Barcelona and she is an artist. Even if painting has been her main activity in the past thirty years, she has also taken the opportunity of dedicating herself, during all this time, to different aspects of writing.

Often, she has combined both tasks, like in the 70s when she collaborated in the program Tiempo Libre of TVE (the main Spanish public broadcasting channel) writing scripts for the art section.
